objections to the second are that all expenses incurred

would be a total loss, and probably the sum realised by the

sale would be somewhat below the original cost of the

bullion on account of the alloy therein. At the same time

one or other of these methods may become necessary and if

so I will advise Your Lordship towards the end of August

which appears to me then to involve the smaller loss.
